READING TIME: 3 minutes

Since replacing the java-script driven online PowerPoint slides with the actual PowerPoint slides stored in a folder in Google Drive, I have added more resources to those folders. In this blog post, I have shared the details of what else is to be found in those folder. I shall also be updating this blog as and when I add more resources to the folder and sub-folders. Be sure check periodically if you are looking for the additional materials I shall be adding in the future.

Disclaimer:

Before I start talking about the contents of the folders, I MUST stress that everything I am sharing is from when I was an international teacher more than 10 years ago. It’s very likely the curriculum has changed and therefore, you are responsible for determining what is and isn’t relevant. I cannot and will NOT vouch for their appropriateness or relevancy.

As it stands now, the public folder contains resources for the following subjects/curriculum.

If interested in Form 3 Science resources, click here. As it stands now, only PowerPoint slides are available. To reiterate, as and when I add more to the folder, I shall update this section. (Click here to go to the blog post listing all the available PowerPoint Slides.)

If interested in GCSE Chemistry resources, click here. As with the above, only PowerPoint slides are available. (Click here to go to the blog post listing all the available PowerPoint Slides.)

If interested in IB Diploma Chemistry resources. click here. Doing so will take you here:

Clicking on the Year 1 folder will take you here:

PowerPoint Slides contain just what it says…and more. (Click here to go go to the blog post listing all the available PowerPoint Slides and more.) Each set of PowerPoint slides contain, at the end, what I have labeled as “Practice Questions.” The folder also contains solutions to those questions.

Summery sheets are PDF documents listing the concepts and skills the students have to master by the end of the given topic. They also include practice questions and references to relevant chapters in textbooks, which, if you don’t use the same one as I did, might NOT be that useful or relevant to you or your students. The folder may also contain PDF document with answers to further questions that appear in the summary sheets. If they are NOT all there, that means I have NOT gotten around to uploading them. Once I do, I shall update this section. The folder also contains other informational and useful documents.

The folder “Worksheets” contains just what it says!

Clicking on the Year 2 folder will take you here:

(Click here to go to the blog post listing all the available PowerPoint Slides and more.)

The contents of this folder is organized in the same way as the Year 1 folder as you can see. It just has one extra folder: past papers and questions by topic. This folder, in addition to containing past papers, also contains MsWord documents containing questions–both multiple choice and structured questions–from past papers by TOPIC.

Moving on to IGCSE Chemistry, were to click here, you’ll be presented with the following (see image below), which, as you can tell, is NOT much different from the above.

(Click here to go to the blog post listing all the available IGCSE Chemistry PowerPoint Slides.)

Finally, MYP chemistry (for years 4 and 5) contains only PowerPower slides. (Click here to go to the blog post listing all the available Chemistry PowerPoint Slides.) Once again, as I add more resources to the folder, I shall update this section.

I hope you find them useful. And if you are looking for something specific or some other things, please inquire. I’ll be more than happy to share them with you if I have them.

Enjoy!
