July 2017 Update
It’s been almost two years since the last update and the young girl is now in grade 8. Here’s an update from Kabita herself!
I am 14 years old girl. I live in Khalangataar village. I am from Dalit family. I study in class -8. I am living with my father, mother, brother, sister-in –law and little brother. My family status is very poor. My father is only one who runs his family. My elder brother has no job to support family. I love singing and playing games. I aspire to become a good singer. I have been getting scholarship since grade five. My marks in grade 7 final examination are 414 (51.75%).
I am very happy and thankful to Committed Nepal for providing my full scholarship. I want to continue my studies further. I expect to get the help of committed Nepal in coming days also.
